A New Orleans native, Chris Clark's primary focus is the human form.  Her work provides glimpses of the subtropical environment that often dominates the setting for her figures.

Clark studied Fine Arts at the University of New Orleans, specializing in printmaking with an emphasis on etching and monoprinting.  Her paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the Southern U.S. including the Dallas Contemporary Museum, the Shreveport Museum, and the New Orleans Contemporary Art Center.

In 1998, Ms. Clark developed an art program for Unity for the Homeless.  The in-house program serves, children, adolescents, and adults within the homeless community of metropolitan New Orleans.
