| Dave Brinks lives in New Orleans. He teaches poetry and is the director at The New Orleans School for the Imagination. Recent publications of his work include "A Gathering of the Tribes," "Exquisite Corpse," "Perforations," "Big City Lit," "5 Trope," "New Orleans Review," and "New Laurel Review." His work is also featured in two anthologies: Thus Spake the Corpse (Black Sparrow Press, 1999) and From a Bend in the River (Runagate Press 1998). His four collections of poetry include The Snow Poems (Lavender Ink, 2000), How Birds Fly, Trial and Eros, and The Secret Brain. Awards include winner of Sinister Goat Prize for Poetry 2001. | |||
